It’s been almost ten years since Rihanna dropped a real album, and by now “where is R9?” is basically a personality trait for her fans. They might finally have something to hold onto.

A late-night clip is going around online showing her back in the booth, apparently after a long day of meetings. No audio, no teaser, nothing official — just Rihanna, in the studio. And that alone was enough to blow up the internet for a few hours.

Since Anti in 2016 she’s conquered fashion, beauty and motherhood, with music the one thing left on pause. There’s still no date and still no confirmation. But the lights are back on — so is it finally Rihanna season?
